Volunteers Are the Heart of The GreenHouse
The GreenHouse is a community built by people who care—and our volunteers are at the heart of it all.
They show up with their time, their talents, their creativity, and, most importantly, their hearts. They help kids with homework, cheer on teens, pull weeds in the garden, share a favorite hobby, help at events, lend a helping hand, and sometimes simply sit down and listen.
These everyday moments matter. They are how relationships are built, confidence grows, and young people know that their community believes in them.
In fact, one-third of all the hours worked at The GreenHouse each year are contributed by volunteers. That's thousands of hours of people choosing to show up for our kids, our families, and our community.
We couldn't do what we do without you. You truly are part of what makes The GreenHouse a safe haven and a place of belonging.
If you'd like to find a way to get involved, we'd love to meet you. Start by completing our Volunteer Interest Survey, or reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteers@thegreenhousecenter.org or 916-402-7978.
Come be part of the GreenHouse community. We have a place for you here.
