The GreenHouse began 22 years ago through conversations with parents and families on this unique

and special block.  As the founders listened, families expressed a desire for a safe place for kids

to go and do their homework, and receive positive adult mentoring. The GreenHouse was born

in response, and has grown to become a thriving, holistic youth development ministry!

In 2024 this holistic work continues, deepening and evolving over time. As our community adapted and

emerged from the pandemic, The GreenHouse continues to walk alongside youth and families

in critical ways, providing academic support, social-emotional resources, spiritual mentorship, strong relationships, creative outlets, and leadership opportunities. The need is bigger than ever as we

continue to combat the learning loss gap that deepened five years ago during the pandemic in our community. 

The GreenHouse has never been more important than it is right now, but we can't do it alone.
